Sapphire + Diamond Halo Wave Ring in 18K Gold
With each wave that rushes up the sandy beach and withdraws, a soft impression is left on the earth. The sand is at the will of mother nature’s tides. This soft sweeping pattern has long been an inspiration, its texture asking to be wrapped around the finger.
Hand carved in wax, each line was carefully sculpted to emulate this natural pattern, evoking an afternoon spent sauntering down the shoreline. Cast using the lost wax process, the texture is cleaned up and finished with a stipple wheel, then polished lightly across the high points.
Featured in this one of a kind ring is a gorgeous blue emerald cut sapphire weighing in at 2.05 carats, surrounded by a 1/5 carat halo of diamonds.
Sapphires are known as ‘shield stones,’ protecting the wearer from theft, accidents, and natural disasters. They are associated with the throat chakra and third eye, aiding in communication and increasing insight. They are also thought among gemstones to have the most healing powers.
Diamonds emit positive healing properties, and are known to encourage ingenuity and imagination. They bring forth many qualities in the wearer such as courage, strength and fortitude, while driving away misfortune and negative energy.
