Thesis

I am greatly influenced by the ocean and all the colors and textures that it encompasses. In my jewelry I reference the natural forms that grow there. In my work casting and carving are the primary techniques used. I experiment with a number of materials and techniques, creating individual elements that I then arrange, assemble and reconstruct in an array of different compositions. This method allows me to highlight those delicate and beautiful details I find in nature.
