Maine Tourmaline + Diamond 18K Gold Sea Flower Pendant
This sea flower pendant was hand carved and cast in 18K gold using the lost wax process. It was originally inspired by the ruffled edges of coral. After the first clusters were cast, the spheres were added to the centers and so they became flowers, or as I like to think of them, ‘flowers of the sea’. Each flower is accented with a diamond set in the center.
Suspended below is an incredibly rare 33.89 carat Maine Tourmaline from Newry, mined back in the 70’s. This size and color combination just isn’t found in Maine anymore, and it is set in a custom built 18K gold setting, embellished with a 3mm diamond below. Aside from its extraordinary size, this minty green tourmaline has a mesmerizing sparkly glow that will captivate you from across a room!
